Grilled Chicken Salad With Mixed Berries And Walnuts

This Grilled Chicken Salad with Mixed Berries and Walnuts is a delicious and healthy lunch option for those who are trying to maintain a healthy blood pressure. With only 310 calories per serving, this salad is packed with protein, healthy fats, antioxidants, and is low in sodium. The combination of juicy mixed berries, crunchy walnuts, and tender chicken strips on a bed of mixed greens makes for a flavorful and satisfying meal. And with a preparation time of just 10 minutes and a cooking time of 8-10 minutes, it's also quick and easy to make.

Ingredients
  

  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp paprika
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 8 cups mixed greens
  • 1 cup mixed berries (strawberries, blueberries, raspberries)
  • 1/2 cup chopped walnuts
  • 4 tbsp balsamic vinaigrette

Instructions
 

  • Season chicken breasts with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and paprika.
  • Heat olive oil in a grill pan over medium-high heat. Add chicken and cook for 4-5 minutes on each side, or until fully cooked.
  • Remove from heat and let cool for 5 minutes.
  • In a large bowl, combine mixed greens, mixed berries, chopped walnuts, and balsamic vinaigrette.
  • Slice chicken into thin strips and add to the salad.
  • Serve immediately.

NOTE

This salad is a great source of protein, healthy fats, and antioxidants. It is also low in sodium, making it a great option for those who are trying to maintain a healthy blood pressure.
